- Manage import purchase operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods from overseas suppliers.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to arrange shipments and customs clearance processes.
- Process various types of imports (e.g., DGFT, EPCG, SAPTO) according to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements for exports and imports.
- Maintain records of all transactions, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
Preferred candidate profile
- 0-4 years' experience in import management or related field (preferably in textile industry).
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
- Robust knowledge of import documentation processes (e.g., DGFT), export-import regulations & laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
