Role Purpose
To lead and manage service operations across India, ensuring efficient execution, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability. The role involves strategic oversight of O&M; activities, service delivery, team management, and coordination with sales and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Service Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end service operations and O&M; activities across multiple sites in India.
Ensure timely execution and 100% on-time delivery of service/work orders.
Drive service contract renewals and expand service business opportunities.
Monitor service KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Customer & Key Account Management
Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong relationships.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and develop lighthouse references.
Conduct periodic customer reviews and performance discussions.
Address escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Financial & Commercial Management
Drive revenue realization and ensure timely collection of receivables.
Monitor budget vs actuals and optimize operational costs.
Ensure recurring revenue collection without penalties.
Support contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions.
Team & Resource Management
Lead and manage service teams,



including site personnel and regional teams.
Ensure effective manpower planning and mobilization for O&M; sites.
Coordinate with manpower suppliers and contractors.
Build and strengthen service extension teams (direct and dealer network).
Sales & Business Support
Support sales team with service inputs and customer references.
Assist in increasing O&M; enquiry base and pipeline quality.
Identify opportunities for service business growth and upselling.
Site Audits & Compliance
Conduct site audits (WTP/WWTP) and ensure compliance with standards.
Ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence across sites.
Review and approve audit reports and corrective actions.
Training & Development
Drive training programs for O&M; teams and service staff.
Ensure KPI awareness and operational excellence across teams.
Mentor team members and build leadership pipeline.
Process & Documentation
Develop and implement SOPs, manuals, and best practices.
Ensure proper MIS reporting, service documentation, and data management.
Establish structured quarterly performance review formats with customers.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
7–8 years of experience in service operations / O&M; / EPC projects.
Strong experience in managing service teams and multiple sites.
Proven track record in customer management and contract renewals.
Experience in cost control, budgeting, and revenue management.
Knowledge of water treatment / industrial service operations.
Valuable-to-Have Skills
Experience in water treatment / EPC / industrial equipment projects.
Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems.
Exposure to multi-location service operations.
