The Senior Product Manager leads the Product Life Cycle and strongly contributes to the research development activities related to the design and development of our products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products. The individual will work with Zinnia's Product Organization to ensure alignment with the organization's strategy and vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead contribute into the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products/platforms, work with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
- Lead technical discussions with Engineering teams thoroughly manage technical/business requirements.
- Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
- Mentor/Drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
- Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
- Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
- May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.
- Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience into Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
- Bachelor s/Masters or equivalent Degree in technology or related field
- Strong Background of working as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner/Business Analyst
- Work in strong collaboration with Technology team drive Technical Execution Solutioning
- Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis etc.
- Strong understanding of SDLC technology system interfaces/architectures
- Coaching mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners
- An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
- Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving Analytical thinking skills.
- Can lead individual assignments deliver with robust expertise
- Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools
- Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional in a global team setup
- Great to have experience in Life Annuity Industry or BFSI
