Job Summary

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising mining operations to achieve production targets safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise mine development, production, and excavation activities.
- Prepare and implement short-term and long-term mine plans.
- Monitor ROM and Overburden (OB) production against targets.
- Supervise drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and dumping operations.
- Ensure proper bench formation, slope stability, pit design, and haul road maintenance.
- Coordinate with Geology and Survey teams for ore identification, grade control, and mine planning.
- Monitor ore quality and stockpile management to meet plant requirements.
- Ensure optimum utilization and productivity of HEMM equipment.
- Prepare daily,



weekly, and monthly production reports and MIS.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS regulations, Mines Act, and environmental norms.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Manage mine dewatering, drainage systems, and waste dump development.
- Coordinate with Beneficiation Plant, Maintenance, and Logistics teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mining costs, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Support mine reclamation, afforestation, and environmental management programs.
- Assist in contractor management, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
