Job Summary

This hybrid role for a senior architect requires between twelve and fifteen years of experience designing and governing large scale enterprise systems that integrate IBM TPF SAP MDM NW GDS mainframe platforms and automated testing solutions using Katalon. The role focuses on stable architecture data integrity and resilient transaction flows that support critical business services.

Responsibilities

- Design end to end enterprise architectures that integrate IBM TPF platforms with SAP MDM NW GDS and core mainframe systems to support highly available transactional workloads
- Develop scalable reference architectures and patterns that standardize integration of transaction processing master data management and legacy mainframe capabilities across business domains
- Define robust data flows and validation rules that ensure consistent and trusted master data between SAP MDM NW GDS repositories and mainframe based operational systems
- Coordinate with product teams to map business capabilities to IBM TPF components SAP MDM structures mainframe applications and automated test assets created with Katalon
- Review solution designs from engineering teams to confirm alignment with enterprise architecture standards and to mitigate risks related to performance security and maintainability
- Produce detailed technical design documentation that describes integration contracts data models error handling strategies and non functional requirements for all critical solutions
- Guide the creation of automated regression test suites in Katalon that validate core transaction paths data quality rules and user journeys across channels in a repeatable manner
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to define capacity plans resiliency patterns and monitoring approaches that maintain stable hybrid environments across data centers and cloud platforms




- Optimize mainframe workloads by identifying opportunities for refactoring interface streamlining and improved batch scheduling that reduce overall processing time and resource consumption
- Work closely with security specialists to define control points access models and audit trails that protect sensitive information handled by IBM TPF SAP MDM and mainframe systems
- Support development teams during implementation by clarifying architectural decisions resolving integration issues and recommending design adjustments that preserve solution integrity
- Analyze production incidents related to architecture decisions identify structural root causes and propose targeted changes that improve reliability and user experience for critical services
- Communicate complex architectural options in clear terms to non technical stakeholders so that informed decisions can be made about cost risk and long term sustainability of solutions

Qualifications

- Possess extensive professional experience in IBM TPF environments handling high volume transactional workloads in contexts such as reservations payments or similar domains
- Demonstrate robust hands on expertise with SAP MDM NW GDS including data modeling syndication processes governance workflows and integration with downstream systems
- Bring deep working knowledge of mainframe technologies including batch processing online transaction subsystems and associated integration mechanisms within large enterprises
- Apply practical experience with Katalon to design maintainable automated test frameworks that cover functional regression and integration scenarios across multiple platforms
- Hold a track record of at least twelve years delivering complex enterprise solutions with clear responsibility for technical architecture design assurance and system interoperability
- Exhibit solid understanding of hybrid delivery models that combine on premises infrastructure and cloud services while maintaining compliance performance and operational stability
- Display strong communication and collaboration skills that enable effective coordination with engineering operations security and business stakeholders across diverse locations
