Teaching & Learning

- Plan and deliver engaging Marathi lessons aligned with IB PYP and MYP frameworks.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Marathi.
- Create inquiry-driven and concept-based learning experiences.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs and language abilities.
- Integrate ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills into classroom practices.
- Encourage appreciation of Marathi literature, culture, and heritage.
- Use formative and summative assessments effectively to monitor student progress.

Curriculum & Planning

- Collaborate with PYP and MYP coordinators for curriculum planning and implementation.
- Participate in unit planning, interdisciplinary learning, and curriculum review.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, assessments, and student portfolios.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.

Student Development

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Support students’ social-emotional growth and wellbeing.
- Guide students in projects, exhibitions, performances, and language-related activities.





Communication & Collaboration

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in school events and professional development programs.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the values of the IB learner profile.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marathi, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- IB PYP/MYP teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in Marathi and English.
- Experience with multilingual learners is an advantage.
