Position: Senior GraphQL Backend Engineer (Node.js + TypeScript)

About the Role

You will maintain a performance-sensitive GraphQL API layer serving marketing and content data to web front-ends and CMS platforms. The service runs on Kubernetes and integrates with Elasticsearch, Redis, AWS, and upstream services through Connect RPC.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Robust expertise in Node.js (v22) and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server v4, schema design, resolvers, performance tuning, graphql-compose)
- Hapi.js, Express.js, or Fastify
- Elasticsearch and Redis (ioredis)
- Connect RPC / Protobuf
- Prometheus, Datadog, and structured logging (Pino)
- AWS (S3, EKS, SSO)
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- CI/CD pipelines
- Terraform
- Jest, Biome (or ESLint/Prettier)

Nice to Have





- gRPC / Connect RPC / Protobuf (@bufbuild/buf)
- JFrog Artifactory
- Experience with high-traffic, low-latency content APIs
- mirrord or local-to-cloud development workflows
