Position- Importation Manager

Responsibilities:

a) Manage end-to-end import operations, including customs clearance, shipping documentation, and regulatory compliance.
b) Coordinate with customs authorities, clearing agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transporters.
c) Monitor shipment status and ensure timely clearance, delivery, container unloading, and empty container returns.
d) Control import-related costs by minimising demurrage, detention, storage charges, and operational delays.
e) Lead the import team, resolve shipment discrepancies and claims, and ensure compliance with company KPIs and SOPs.
