Responsibility.
- Developing and implementing production schedules, allocating resources (labor, materials, equipment), and managing.
- Oversee the daily operations of the packaging factory, ensuring smooth and efficient running of machines, production lines, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues promptly to avoid downtime.
- Maintaining quality standards throughout the production process, implementing and enforcing quality control procedures, and addressing any quality issues promptly.
- Supervising and motivating production staff, ensuring proper training and development, and addressing any performance issues.
- Implement strategies to improve machine output and production rates while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Analyze production data to identify areas of improvement in efficiency, waste reduction, and quality control specific to packaging processes.
- Ensure all Operators/Helpers are properly trained in packaging operations and safety standards.
- Ensure proper required levels of raw materials (e.g., packaging materials like boxes, films, labels) and finished goods.
- Analyze data and recommend actions for process improvement, cost reduction, and production optimization within the packaging facility.
- Maintaining Daily MIS and report to Top Management.
- Meet Production and dispatch Target
- Co-ordinate with the customer, ensure delivery of quality products to the customer on time.
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols within the production area, ensuring a safe working workplace, and addressing any safety concerns.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in production management, ideally in the plastic industry.
- Knowledge of Injection Moulding Operation.
- Expertise in improving machine output, production rates, and operational efficiency within packaging.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015.
- Implementation of 5s, Lean Manufacturing, TPM.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic Engineering or B.Sc, CIPET
- Minimum 7 Years Relevant Experience.
- Experience with Plastic/Metal Container Manufacturing (preferred).
- SAP/ERP Knowledge Preferred.
