Job Description : Transport & Logistic Manager
Position: Manager
Location: Sarjapura, Dommasandra, Bengaluru
Reporting To: VP Sales / parallel reporting to MD
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Transportation & Logistics Manager with 5 to7 years of proven expertise in private logistics/transport operations. The ideal candidate will independently negotiate freight rates, arrange vehicles, and ensure seamless transportation coverage across South Indian states and selected parts of North India.

- Freight Negotiation: Independently negotiate competitive freight rates with vendors and transporters.
- Vehicle Arrangement: Source and arrange vehicles for timely dispatch across South India and designated North Indian regions.
- Route & Network Management: Plan, monitor, and optimize transportation routes to ensure cost efficiency and timely deliveries.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with transport vendors, contractors, and fleet owners.
- Compliance & Documentation:



Ensure adherence to transport regulations, company policies, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with inventory, and production teams to streamline operations.
- Problem Resolution: Handle on-ground challenges such as vehicle shortages, delays, or freight disputes with quick decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in private logistics/transport operations.
- Robust track record of independent freight negotiation and vehicle arrangement.
- Knowledge of regional transport networks across South India and parts of North India.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
