The Machine Expert will provide technical support related to selection, operation, and maintenance of machinery relevant to project activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Support the selection, installation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment in coordination with vendors and site teams to ensure smooth and timely operationalisation.

· Provide hands-on guidance on machine operation, safety protocols, and routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe and productive usage.

· Conduct practical training for operators and beneficiaries on proper handling, optimal utilisation, and basic troubleshooting of machinery.

· Identify and troubleshoot technical or mechanical issues, implement immediate fixes where possible, and coordinate with service providers for major repairs.

· Assist in preparing technical specifications, SOPs,



and operational and maintenance guidelines for machinery procurement and use.

· Monitor and document machinery performance, utilisation, and downtime, and provide periodic reports and recommendations for performance improvement.

Qualification & Experience

· Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

· Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in handling and operating machinery.

· Experience in agriculture, food processing, textile, or allied sectors preferred.

· Experience of similar work in the North Eastern Region is desirable.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
