Job Description – Interior Designer (Residential Interiors)

Position: Interior Designer
Location: Anna Nagar East, Chennai

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and customer-focused Interior Designer to design premium residential interiors. The ideal candidate should have excellent design skills, strong client-handling abilities, and experience in converting customer requirements into practical and aesthetically pleasing interior solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, requirements, and budget.
- Develop space planning, layout designs, and design concepts.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D designs, and presentations using design software.
- Recommend materials, finishes, colors, lighting, and furnishings.
- Prepare BOQs and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Project, and Production teams for smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits for measurements and design validation.
- Ensure designs are executed as approved by the client.
- Handle client queries and provide design support until project completion.




- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and products.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of residential interior design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar design software.
- Excellent space planning and visualization skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Valuable client relationship management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in residential interior design.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, and complete home interior projects.
- Passion for design with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
