We are looking for a skilled Vertex O Series Consultant with 7 to 12 years of experience in configuring, integrating, and maintaining Vertex for VAT/GST within SAP S/4 systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Vertex O Series configuration and integration, as well as a deep understanding of VAT/GST and global tax compliance requirements.
Roles and Responsibility
- Lead the roll-out of Vertex applications for EU, AME, Canada, LATAM regions.
- Configure tax payers, taxability drivers, tax categories, commodity codes, tax assist rules, look-up tables, tax codes, exemption, and jurisdictions mapping.
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather tax requirements.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
- Troubleshoot integration errors and configure tax rules and jurisdictions to ensure regulatory tax compliance.
- Ensure seamless implementation of Vertex solutions within SAP S/4 systems.
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Vertex O Series configuration and integration.
- Deep understanding of VAT/GST and global tax compliance requirements.
- Positive understanding of SAP S/4 FI P2P and OTC modules from the point of tax calculation.
- Knowledge of multiple tax regions including EU, AME, Canada, and LATAM.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Mandatory 5-day working week from Bangalore Client office only.
