We are looking for a skilled AWS Backend Developer with 4 to 9 years of experience to design and implement backend services using AWS managed services, Infrastructure as Code, and modern observability and security practices. This role is based in Bengaluru.

Roles and Responsibility

- Develop backend microservices in TypeScript using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Design IoT-aware workflows for device onboarding, provisioning, and control.
- Model data for DynamoDB and integrate with IoT telemetry streams.
- Configure CloudWatch dashboards and metrics for observability.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using Cognito IdP Federation and Amazon Verified Permissions.
- Collaborate with architects and domain leads to ensure alignment with telecom-specific requirements.
- Write unit and integration tests using JEST and follow best practices for code quality and security.

Job Requirements

- Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript.
- Experience with API development using Amazon API Gateway.




- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like JEST.
- Understanding of IoT communication protocols including MQTT, HTTP, REST, WebSockets, and connectivity management.
- Experience with device management, IoT core, device shadows, and device provisioning.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
