We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist with 6 to 11 years of experience to lead HAMSAM implementations, including software vetting processes and license compliance. The ideal candidate will have solid proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub Flow Designer, and standard CMDB architecture.

Roles and Responsibility

- Implement and maintain ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules.
- Drive the software evaluation process from intake to approval, collaborating with InfoSec, Legal, and IT teams.
- Oversee complete IT asset lifecycles, from initial procurement and provisioning through tracking, maintenance, retirement, and disposal.
- Manage software entitlements models and contracts to mitigate vendor audit risks and optimize the organization's Effective License Position (ELP).
- Direct and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party discovery tools, such as SCCM, JAMF, cloud infrastructure providers, and enterprise procurement/ERP systems.
- Standardize data normalization rules,



automated reconciliation processes, and asset reclamation workflows within the Software Asset Workspace.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 6 years of total ServiceNow experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on ownership of ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro modules.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required; Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub Flow Designer, and standard CMDB architecture.
- Experience with software vetting, lifecycle management, compliance auditing, and governance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including InfoSec, Legal, and IT.
