We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer II Cloud Ecosystems with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software platform or site reliability engineering within the technology sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building, operating, and maintaining sophisticated and scalable systems.

Roles and Responsibility

- Design, develop, and implement highly distributed large-scale platforms that significantly impact developers.
- Deliver a fully integrated end-to-end developer-focused engineering experience to simplify common tasks and enable complex ones.
- Embed operational resilience and service reliability into the development lifecycle.
- Build effective monitoring to supervise system health and promptly handle outages.
- Conduct capacity tests to manage system growth.
- Implement Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery DR planning into the full engineering lifecycle.
- Automate security and privacy controls to reduce manual decision points during service bootstrapping and delivery pipelines.
- Advocate engineering standard processes and participate in on-call rotations as an escalation contact for incidents.
- Contribute to organizational growth through interviewing, onboarding, or other recruitment efforts.

Job Requirements

- Solid experience in at least one programming language used by the company (Go, Python, Java, Ruby, Perl).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies.




- Knowledge of cloud computing fundamentals.
- Proficient Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of Service level agreements and objectives.
- Additional experience in AWS solutions, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, or Storage is desirable.
- Familiarity with observability technologies like Prometheus, Graphite, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient command of the English language (both written and spoken).
