We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced L3 Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to design complex architectures, lead the migration strategy from legacy hypervisors to OpenShift Virtualization, and build the Ansible automation framework that powers our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Red Hat OpenShift knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Engineering.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design and implement Hosted Control Plane HCP architectures and customized Agent-based deployment workflows for scale.
- Lead the strategy for OpenShift Virtualization, enabling the coexistence of containers and VMs on a single platform.
- Develop complex Ansible Roles and Collections to automate the entire infrastructure lifecycle IaC.
- Serve as the final point of contact for deep dive troubleshooting involving SDN, storage, CSI, and cluster-wide performance tuning.
- Define best practices for LinuxWindows integration and mentor L2 engineers in automation and container standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
Job Requirements
- Expertise in Infrastructure Engineering with expert-level Red Hat OpenShift knowledge.
- Deep expertise in OpenShift Virtualization, KubeVirt, including networking, Multus, and storage ODF Ceph for VMs.
- Solid conceptual knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V to facilitate migration and integration.
- Experience with Ansible, developing playbooks, roles, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
- Red Hat Certified Engineer RHCE certification is required; additional certifications like Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualization or equivalent advanced OpenShift certification are highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of LinuxWindows integration and experience mentoring L2 engineers in automation and container standards is necessary.
