We are looking for a skilled Pega Lead System Architect with 8 to 13 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of PEGA systems and expertise in all phases of software development.

Roles and Responsibility

- Provide thought and technical leadership to team members on complex problems and business requirements.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of Pega architecture, design, and implementation practices.
- Continuously enhance skill set and knowledge to leverage the latest trends, techniques, and practices.
- Advocate for the adoption of a reusable components strategy in enterprise solutions.
- Mentor and monitor team deliverables, providing timely feedback on Pega practices and solutions.
- Demonstrate innate troubleshooting skills when faced with complex problems, working systematically to resolve critical incidents.
- Act as a mentor to all team members of the CS Platforms Support team, focusing on Pega Certified Senior System Architects.
- Enable the growth of Pega Citizen Development by providing internal training, upskilling, and guidance.
- Lead simplistic designs that leverage OotB components and low-code options, collaborating with internal Pega PGC, COE function, and Booking.com Architecture Groups to define and refine Pega best practices.
- Design optimal solutions without unnecessary complexity and define a service-oriented architecture,



while working closely with the Product team to provide feedback regarding product enhancements needed to support the BUs or organization's needs.
- Collaborate with internal IT Engineering and Architecture teams to understand hardware requirements, network landscape, server topology, and integration needs.
- Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and influence stakeholders accordingly, showing mindfulness of when to integrate with other products versus using Pega E2E and presenting the best architecture to meet desired needs.

Job Requirements

- Expert knowledge of PEGA systems and Pega Customer Service apps is required.
- Working experience with Pega constellation or DX API is necessary.
- A valid Pega Lead System Architect certification must be obtained.
- A degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
- Experience in application servers and programming languages is expected.
- Knowledge of diverse databases and integration techniques is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the Pega Customer Service Framework and adherence to Pega best practices are essential.
