We are looking for a skilled API Automation Tester with solid experience in backend API testing automation using PactumJS, JavaScript, and hands-on exposure to IoT testing. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of API validation service integration testing test automation frameworks, and IoT ecosystem validation involving device-to-cloud communication.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain API automation scripts using PactumJS and JavaScript.
- Perform functional integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for backend services and APIs.
- Validate request-response payloads, schema, headers, status codes, authentication, and business rules.
- Automate API test scenarios for CRUD operations, negative scenarios, error handling, retry behavior, and service orchestration.
- Execute backend validation for IoT workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in PactumJS.
- Experience in API testing and backend validation.
- Good understanding of REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience in IoT testing.
- Preferred skills include experience with Postman for API validation and collection-based testing, Karate DSL, Rest Assured, or similar API automation tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is desirable.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
