Job Location - Bhopal

Position Type - Contractual up to 2 years. Extendable on the basis of performance.

Job Objective

- Experience in managing large IT Infrastructure Security controls deployment and management.
- Hands-on experience in Network & IT Infrastructure Security.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role

Job Role Pointers

- Manage protection of information while in process, handling, storage & transit so as to safeguard privacy of data and reduce economic losses due to cybercrime or data theft.
- Keep security policies up-to-date, e.g., password policy, etc.
- Handle cyber-attack incidents, analyze or manage procedures (FIR, Register Logs, Action).
- Share logs with CERT-In / NKN SDC policy should accommodate this.
- Study network and design network topology.
- Suggest security solutions as per the current topology.
- Manage implementation of network security.
- Manage router and switch configuration, including hardening of network devices from a security perspective.
- Manage Syslog, NFA and NetFlow servers from a security perspective.
- Configure all types of VPN tunnels in multi-vendor devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot various tunnel methods like GRE/IPSEC/IP IP.
- Detailed knowledge of firewall technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint and Palo Alto.
- Maintain and administer perimeter security systems.
- Troubleshoot VPN policies.
- Review and ensure implementation of procedures for maintaining and safeguarding cryptographic keys.
- Ensure network security policies and practices to prevent and monitor unauthorized access, whitelisting, misuse, modification, or denial of computer network and network-accessible resources.
- Ensure any exceptions are recorded with proper reason and approval.
- Identify vulnerabilities and risks in software (Software Version, Default Configuration).




- Ensure security audits by CERT-In/STQC for production applications and maintain audit records.
- Monitor and keep track of application security through random checks.
- Analyze logs and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Analyze policies as per Network Threat Reports.
- Develop policy frameworks for DMZ, MZ and Management Zones for server applications.
- Ensure hardening of server (infrastructure), network and application policies.
- Recommend security features wherever they are not utilized.

Candidate Profile Details

Essential Criteria

Education Details

- Graduation: BE / B.Tech (CS/E&C;/IT) / MCA / M.Tech / MS-CS / IS or equivalent.

Certification Details

Any one or more of the following Expert-level Security Certifications or equivalent:

- Cisco
- Juniper
- Check Point
- Fortinet
- Palo Alto
- CISSP
- CISM

Work Experience

- Total Experience: Minimum 12+ years of experience in managing large IT Infrastructure Security controls deployment and management.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Network & IT Infrastructure Security.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Excellent knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and STIGS.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls, next-generation firewalls, UTM, IDS/IPS appliances, endpoint security, malware detection/removal solutions, and VPN solutions (both IPSEC and SSL).
- Hands-on experience with Secure Web Gateways, Proxy & Reverse Proxy Servers, SIEM, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Anomaly Detection, DLP, Encryption, Authentication, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Vulnerability Scanners, Endpoint Firewalls, IPS, and SSL.
- Excellent knowledge of packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark and TCPDump.
- Robust understanding of TCP/IP troubleshooting and support/operations of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and UTM.
- Experience working with SOC (Security Operations Center) and NOC (Network Operations Center).
- Must be adept at Change Control Management and Incident Management.
