Key Responsibilities

1. Site Planning & Project Execution

- Lead and manage daily site operations for PEB structural steel erection, alignment, sheeting, and civil interface works.
- Prepare detailed site execution schedules (CPM/Gantt charts), micro-plans, and resource deployment plans (manpower, cranes, tools, and equipment).
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and sequence-based erection of structural members to minimize double handling and damage.

2. Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QA/QC)

- Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, structural designs, and IS/BS/AWS standards during fabrication and site erection.
- Supervise inspection of high-strength bolt torqueing, welding (UT/NDT/DP testing), alignment, verticality, and torque checks.
- Coordinate third-party quality inspections and secure client/consultant approvals for work completion.

3. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

- Manage site erection contractors, labor teams, crane operators, and sub-vendors.
- Monitor vendor productivity, enforce strict adherence to safety/quality standards, and certify contractor measurement sheets and bills.

4. Workplace, Health & Safety (EHS)

- Enforce zero-tolerance EHS protocols on-site, including working at heights, heavy crane lifts, rigging safety, and hot works.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRA) prior to heavy erection activities.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management





- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for clients, consultants, and architects at the site.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings, prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), and track site variations or claims.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 8 to 15+ years of experience in structural steel / PEB projects, with at least 35 years in a managerial or lead site role.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of PEB structural systems, heavy steel fabrication, crane lift planning, torqueing, and sheeting processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in reading structural & architectural drawings (AutoCAD, Tekla output drawings), MS Excel, and MS Project / Primavera.

- Site Leadership: Strong capability to direct large, multi-disciplinary field teams and erection contractors.
- Problem Solving: Ability to quickly resolve on-site engineering challenges, structural fitment issues, and site constraints.
- Resource Management: Optimization of heavy machinery (hydra, cranes, boom lifts) and manpower utilization.
- Commercial Acumen: Understanding of site billing, extra work claims, measurement books (MB), and cost control.
