We are looking for a skilled 3D Modeling Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plant layout, piping design, and piping materials.

Roles and Responsibility

- Create and maintain detailed 3D models of facilities, equipment, and systems using advanced CAD software.
- Develop accurate and efficient models that support engineering design visualization and analysis.
- Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and project managers to ensure quality and timely project completion.
- Oversee AVEVA E3D setup and administration, including database management and clash manager configuration.
- Diagnose issues and deviations from standards in existing 3D models of oil and gas facilities.
- Configure and troubleshoot 3D modeling software, extracting key deliverables like Material Take Off (MTO) piping isometrics, equipment lists, line lists, and weight reports.
- Prepare 3D modeling guidelines and specifications, including lessons learned across assets.
- Manage E3DPDMS Global and E3DPDMS Extract Databases, coordinating with Systems lead in setting up global projects.
- Create new catalogues for projects based on vendor data for piping equipment, structural and electrical instrumentation, and civilstructural elements of plant operations.
- Create local backups of running projects as necessary.

Job Requirements





- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a 3D CAD Administrator and Designer with extensive knowledge of plant layout, piping design, and piping materials.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical components, and civilstructural elements of plant operations.
- Robust understanding of 3D modeling software and its applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in creating macros in Programmable Macro Language (PML) to automate tasks like adding or updating User-Defined Attributes (UDAs), extracting NavisworksReview files, and configuring project-specific customizations using PML II.
- Proficiency in generating custom reports from the 3D model as per project requirements and integrating data from various sources to create intelligent asset visualizations for digital twins.
- Experience in programmatically uploading attributes into 3D modeling software and comparing them with other data sources.
- Preferred qualification: Senior Specialist - Industrial IoT.
