TMSS Facility Coordinator is responsible for assessing and improving the safety of machinery and equipment within the workplace. This role involves participating in TMSS machine assessments, risk assessments, compliance audits, training, and the implementation of safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries. The TMSS Facility Coordinator will collaborate closely with engineers, maintenance teams, EHS and management to promote a safe working workplace
Key Responsibilities:
1. Risk Assessment Compliance
Participate in risk assessment process for machinery and equipment.
Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
2. Machine Safety Implementation
Participate in conducting TMSS Assessments on machinery and equipment.
Manage machine safety power apps.
Participate in company machine guarding programs.
Assist with Lockout/Tagout/Tryout (LOTOTO) procedures and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to design safer machine operations.
3. Audits Inspections
Perform scheduled machine safety inspections.
Document findings and suggest necessary safety improvements.
Assist with safety program updates as needed.
4. Training Support
Assist with training employees on machine safety and LOTOTO procedures.
Participate in safety workshops and awareness programs.
Provide support and answer safety-related questions.
Assist with the development of safety documentation and procedures.
5. Incident Investigation Reporting
Support the investigation of machine-related incidents and near misses.
Work with management to implement corrective actions.
Qualifications Skills
Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and electrical system
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of safety PLC programming (not essential)
Familiarity with LOTOTO and machine guarding requirements.
Good problem-solving skill
