Liability Sales Officer / AM Sales Role Overview

About Liability Sales

The Liability Sales department focuses on liability acquisition, retail assets, and forex business for the Bank. The team drives business through branch networks across India and is responsible for sourcing retail and corporate deposits, salary and non-salary accounts, trust accounts, and forex business, with the objective of growing the Bank's retail customer base and liability book.

About the Role

Officer Sales and AM Sales are part of the Bank's front-line sales team and are primarily responsible for acquiring new customers and generating business opportunities. The role involves promoting banking and investment products and services based on customer needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective query resolution.

This is a field sales role involving regular customer interactions, lead generation, and local travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and acquire new customers for the Bank and third-party products through proactive sales efforts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance business opportunities and deepen existing relationships.
- Achieve monthly sales targets as assigned by the organization.
- Record and track all customer engagement activities through the CRM system.
- Ensure adherence to KYC, SEBI,



and other regulatory guidelines governing the financial services industry.
- Generate leads through market visits, references, and networking activities.
- Deliver a superior customer experience through timely support and service.

Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Manager (AM Sales)

- Graduate with 2+ years of sales experience.

Officer Sales - 2 (OS2)

- Graduate with 1 to 2 years of sales experience.

Officer Sales - 1 (OS1)

- Graduate with less than 1 year of experience.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
- Excellent lead generation and customer acquisition capabilities.
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to consistently achieve targets.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valuable interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
