Role & responsibilities

- Answering the phone and providing basic information about restaurant services and operating hours or assisting with the scheduling of reservations
- Maintaining clean and sanitised menus for guest use
- Refilling drinks as required
- Rolling and replacing cutlery as required
- Maintaining stocked serving stations with condiments, trays and napkins
- Directing customers to the location of the restrooms
- Clearing tables as guests finish their meals
- Complying with all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assisting kitchen staff with the preparation of easy dishes such as salads and desserts

Preferred candidate profile

- High school or diploma in Hotel Mgmt.
- 1 to 3 years of prior stewarding or kitchen utility experience.
- Background in high-volume hotels, restaurants, or cruise lines.
- Physical strength to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long shifts.
- Fast time management and multi-tasking during peak hours
- Courteous, helpful, and friendly attitude toward guests and staff.
- Strong communication for working closely with kitchen and wait staff.
- Calm and reliable performance under high-pressure environments.
