Job Title: QA Analyst (Fresher/Junior) Banking Domain

Job Summary

We are looking for a self-driven fresher or junior QA professional who is curious about software quality, has basic exposure to software testing concepts, and understands how banking applications function. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of manual/automation testing, test case design, and basic banking terminology. You will work closely with development, business, and compliance teams to support testing, defect management, and quality assurance workflows. You don't need to be an expert — just eager to learn and grow fast.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in understanding business requirements and translating them into test scenarios and test cases for banking applications specially lending applications.

Support the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including:

Test planning and test case design

Test data preparation

Test execution (manual and/or automated)

Defect logging, tracking, and retesting

Write explicit, structured test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and UAT scenarios related to loan modules, transaction processing, and customer data.

Perform functional, regression,



and sanity testing on banking applications and reports.

Log and track defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA) and coordinate with developers for resolution.

Monitor test cycles and raise alerts if application defects, environment issues, or test blockers are observed.

Document test cases, test plans, traceability matrices, and defect reports for all testing tasks handled.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Banking Domain (basic): Awareness of banking terms like KYC, NPA, loan accounts, and transaction types.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot functional gaps, edge cases, and quality issues in banking application workflows.

Good communication skills needed to coordinate with business, QA, and development teams.

Basic understanding of testing types: functional, regression, integration, UAT, and sanity testing.

Basic knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.

Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation.

Experience Level: 0–2 Years (Fresher to Junior Level)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
