We are looking for an Accountant to help us manage all company financial transactions such as invoicing, purchases, bank reconciliation and compliance with financial policies and regulations (GST, TDS, Professional Tax). This role is essential to ensure that all transactions taking place are genuine and accounted for as it is crucial for the company financial health and safety of our customers.
As an accountant at AVStore, we expect you to have a strong attention to detail, positive analytical skills and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Responsibilities:
- Daily data-entry of transactions (invoices, purchases, expenses and more)
- Verification of payment received and payments made
- Bank account reconciliation
- Calculate tax payments and returns
- Timely monthly fling of GST return and TDS filing
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Minimum experience of 1 year in Zoho Books or Quick Books (accountants with Tally experience will not be considered for this position)
- Minimum experience of 1 year in filing company GST returns via GST portal, TDS filing and experience with the E-Way Bill system
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
