Senior Payroll Officer

Location: Silvassa
Experience: 5–7 Years
Qualification: MBA (HR) / MSW / MHRM / Any Relevant Graduate or Postgraduate

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement. The candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll administration, statutory deductions, HRMS, and payroll reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Process monthly payroll for employees, trainees, apprentices, and contract workforce.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, and payroll inputs.
- Process salary revisions, arrears, bonuses, leave encashment, and full & final settlements.
- Prepare payroll reports and coordinate with the Finance team for salary disbursement.
- Ensure accurate deduction and processing of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Income Tax (TDS), Bonus, and Gratuity.
- Maintain payroll records, employee salary data, and statutory documentation.
- Generate salary slips, Form 16, payroll MIS, and other payroll-related reports.
- Update employee salary structures, bank details,



and payroll master data.
- Work on HRMS and payroll software to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
- Support payroll audits and resolve payroll-related queries.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software.
- Excellent MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Valuable understanding of PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, and Gratuity.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet payroll deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
