Overview:
Asia SS Industries is seeking an experienced Factory Accountant to join our team. The Factory Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the factory.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and inventory valuation.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations for financial performance against budget and forecasts.
- Cost Accounting:
- Monitor and analyze production costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead.
- Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately allocate costs to products.
- Work closely with the production team to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and valuation.
- Coordinate with procurement and production departments to ensure adequate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:




- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the factory.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
- Participate in budget planning meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary support and documentation.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices and recommend system enhancements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Skilled certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in inventory modules preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
