Primary Responsibilities

- Lead execution of Salesforce health assessment remediation items, including platform cleanup, configuration optimization, and maintainability improvements.
- Support custom field cleanup, page layout rationalization, record type cleanup, validation rule review, profile/permission review, and related metadata optimization activities.
- Analyze existing Apex, Flow, automation, and integration impacts when cleanup items may affect business processes or connected systems.
- Implement Salesforce development changes using Apex, Flow, Lightning Web Components, and configuration as needed to support approved backlog items.
- Support domain/branding migration activities related to the transition from Boston Private naming to First Citizens branding, including Salesforce configuration, URL/domain impacts, and integration validation support.
- Partner with the onshore technical lead to assess technical risk, provide estimates, and support backlog prioritization.
- Identify larger optimization opportunities and document them for future backlog review rather than pursuing major refactoring without approval.




- Provide guidance to Salesforce Engineers and support code/configuration reviews.
- Create technical documentation for completed changes, dependencies, and release impacts.

Required Skills

- Strong Salesforce development background.
- Apex development experience.
- Salesforce Flow development experience.
- Salesforce configuration and administration knowledge.
- Experience with Salesforce metadata cleanup and platform optimization.
- Ability to analyze existing customizations, automation, and integration dependencies.
- Experience supporting Agile or sprint-based backlog delivery.
- Robust communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Financial Services Cloud experience.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or wealth management environments.
- Experience with Salesforce health assessment or technical debt remediation.
- Experience with domain migration, org branding changes, or integration-impact validation.

Familiarity with nCino dependencies is helpful, but nCino enhancement/development is not expected to be part of this role
