Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Design Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our innovative team. The Avionics Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for various aircraft platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of avionics engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Avionics Design Engineer will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge avionics solutions that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Avionics System Design

- Develop avionics, Electrical system architectures and specifications as designer Aircraft/Avionics Integrator based on project requirements and regulatory guidelines.
- Design avionics solutions including selection of hardware and software components.
- Build circuit Designs including its interfaces with existing proposed introduction of new hardware and embedded systems for the aircraft.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for avionics systems.
- Develop, Build drive STC certification/Mod leaflet activities against respective projects in Civil Military Environment
- Interface with CEMILAC/DGCA/EASA for various Civil, Government Military programs
- Develop Build STC/data design packages for CEMILAC/DGCA/EASA approvals including drawings, manuals etc.
- Drive CEMILAC/DGCA/EASA/FAA organizational approval activities where required.
- Undertake /Support Feasibility activities align with Installation team.
- Undertake new design activities for the different platforms opportunities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to achieve design engineering tasks related to civil military requirements from fixed wing rotary aircrafts.
- Drive Strengthen Design activities in SAAW for both civil military.

Prototype Development and Testing





- Build and test prototypes of avionics systems to validate design concepts and performance characteristics.
- Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues during prototype development.

Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, such as CEMILAC, DGCA, FAA and EASA requirements, throughout the design and development process.
- Review and interpret regulatory documents and standards related to avionics design and certification.

Collaboration and Communication

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including integrating avionics systems into aircraft platforms.
- Effectively Communicate design progress updates, and technical specifications to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle ensure timely delivery.

Documentation and Reporting

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports, to support the avionics Design development Systems Integration process.

Key Qualification Certification Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in avionics design, development for Avionics, electrical System Integration STC development.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards related to design (e.g., CEMILAC, DGCA, FAA, EASA).
- Proficiency in CAD software for avionics design (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Strong understanding of avionics hardware and software components, including embedded systems and communication interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with avionics systems from major manufacturers (e.g., Garmin, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins).
- Familiarity with aircraft platforms such as fixed-wing, rotorcraft, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
- Worked as CVE, SCE in the Design organization.
