Role & responsibilities :

- Monitor and control fermentation parameters such as pH, temperature, agitation and aeration.
- Conduct fermentation sampling.
- Support scale-up and optimization of fermentation processes.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, and R&D; teams to achieve production targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic practices during inoculation, fermentation, and downstream operations.
- Monitor production areas for microbial contamination risks.
- Participate in contamination investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Verify cleaning, Fogging/sanitization, and sterilization effectiveness.
- Maintain and handle microbial culture banks and seed cultures.
- Perform culture propagation activities as per established procedures.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and traceability of microbial cultures.
- Prepare and review batch manufacturing records, logbooks, and process documentation.
- Ensure timely documentation of deviations, CAPA, and change controls.

Experience in Scale-up of culture, fermentation-based bioprocessing,biopesticides, biofertilizers, bio stimulants, or industrial microbiology.

M.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology (Microbiology specialization preferred).
