The Field Executive Construction is responsible for the protected, efficient, and high-quality installation of elevator and escalator units across assigned project sites. This role ensures compliance with all Otis installation standards, safety, customer expectations, and statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- installation of new elevators and escalators while ensuring full alignment with Otis quality standards and committed project timelines.
- Adhere to Otis installation standards.
- Uphold strict adherence to Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S;) protocols across all installation activities.
- Conduct thorough pre installation and post installation inspections to validate safety, quality, and compliance benchmarks.
- Coordination with customers and contractors and maintain work schedule timelines of project execution.
- Travel to project sites in the region as needed, to support installation schedules and customer commitments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow Field Installation Manual (FIM) in line with operational requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Elevator mechanic certification is required as per local regulation.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in elevator installation.
- Strong mechanical and electrical expertise with hands on troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform project-related calculations.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and installation procedures.
