Key Responsibilities -

- Work closely with the Business Head API to drive and expand the Domestic API Business across India.
- Contribute towards building and achieving 500+ Crore annual API business through strategic customer acquisition and key account development.
- Drive sales of 300+ Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Bulk Drugs and Pharmaceutical Raw Materials across multiple therapeutic segments.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with Purchase Directors, Procurement Heads, Commercial Heads and CXO-level decision makers across pharmaceutical formulation companies.
- Generate new business through existing customer relationships and industry network.
- Handle pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, annual rate contracts and supply agreements.
- Identify new business opportunities, key accounts and high-growth pharmaceutical customers.
- Work closely with sourcing, supply chain and commercial teams for smooth execution.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence and revenue growth plans.




- Travel extensively across India to accelerate business growth and strengthen strategic customer partnerships.

Preferred candidate profile -

We are looking for an accomplished API sales professional with an established customer network and a proven ability to generate sustainable business.

Candidate must have:

- 10 to 18 years of experience in API, Bulk Drug or Pharmaceutical Raw Material Sales.
- Proven experience in handling 50+ Crore annual API business independently or as part of a national sales team.
- Robust relationships with Purchase Directors, Procurement Heads, Commercial Heads and Key Decision Makers across pharmaceutical formulation companies.
- Experience in Domestic API Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management and Commercial Negotiations.
- Sound knowledge of General APIs, Antibiotic APIs, Beta-Lactam, Non-Beta Lactam, Cephalosporins, Penicillin and Ampicillin APIs.
- Ability to generate immediate business through an established industry network.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, contract negotiations and customer relationship management.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Mandatory Requirement

Only candidates with hands-on experience in Domestic API/Bulk Drug Sales within the Pharmaceutical Industry will be considered. Candidates from non-pharmaceutical industries will not be considered.
