Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test medical devices, equipment, and software applications
- Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical devices
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to identify needs and improve systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals
- Conduct research to support the development of current medical technologies
- Train staff on the proper use of biomedical equipment.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
- Proven experience in medical device design, testing, or maintenance (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and medical terminology
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
