Job Title: SAP ABAP HR Developer (Payroll/ECP)

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP HR Developer to join a global SAP S/4HANA project. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in SAP HCM Payroll (PY), Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and ABAP HR development, with hands-on experience in payroll processing, payment file generation, and banking integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP HR (RICEF) objects for SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Design and develop payroll reports, custom programs, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
- Develop and support custom DME (Data Medium Exchange) payment files.
- Perform DMEE and PMW (Payment Medium Workbench) enhancements.
- Build and maintain bank interfaces using XML and Flat File formats.
- Develop and support ABAP enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
- Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, and other SAP integration technologies.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live activities, and hypercare support.
- Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills

- 6–8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP HR development.
- Solid experience with SAP HCM Payroll (PY)



and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Custom DME payment file development
- DMEE
- Payment Medium Workbench (PMW)
- Bank payment formats (XML and Flat Files)
- Payment file split logic
- Strong ABAP development skills including:
- Reports
- Interfaces
- Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits)
- IDocs
- RFCs
- Forms
- Experience working on SAP implementation or support projects.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA HR or Employee Central Payroll.
- Exposure to global payroll processes and banking integrations.
- Experience working with international clients.

Language Requirement

- Fluent English (Mandatory)
