Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimise prompts for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI systems. The ideal candidate will combine creativity, analytical skills, and technical expertise to enhance AI performance, reliability, and user experience. Strong English language skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Develop, refine, and test effective prompts for LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA, etc.) across multiple applications (chatbots, content generation, research, automation, etc.).
- Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to integrate prompts into real-world systems.
- Conduct experiments to measure prompt performance, accuracy, bias, and efficiency.
- Create prompt libraries, templates, and documentation for reuse and scalability.
- Stay updated on the latest research in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model alignment.
- Troubleshoot model outputs to reduce hallucinations, bias, or irrelevant responses.
- Work with developers / engineers to implement evaluation metrics and feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience working with LLMs and generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Hugging Face).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design structured experiments.
- Excellent command of natural language and ability to craft exact, context-aware instructions.
- Familiarity with Python, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in fine-tuning and model customization.
- Background in UX writing, computational linguistics, or cognitive science.
- Ability to visualize and analyse prompt performance data.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
