Position Description: At RevX, we operate at scale - handling 5M+ QPS and managing petabytes of data. We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with hands-on experience in building and scaling AdTech systems. You will play a key role in designing and developing robust adtech solutions that support large-scale campaign management, real-time bidding, and analytics. You will be a pioneer in integrating additional advertising channels into our Real-Time Bidding (RTB) platform, laying the architectural groundwork to scale them to the next level. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design, develop, and ship impactful solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Architect and optimize the core DSP bidder to ensure extremely high throughput and strict sub-millisecond latency performance.
- Pioneer the integration of new channels (e.g., mWeb, CTV, DOOH, etc.) into the RTB ecosystem, spearheading the technical strategy to scale them for massive traffic and continuous growth.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate the DS model into the application.
- Engineer ultra-low latency model inference pipelines and real-time feature extraction for accurate bid pricing and CTR/CVR predictions.
- Provide technical leadership to the development team, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices.
- Translate complex marketing and ad-serving requirements into scalable backend solutions.
- Ensure security, reliability, and compliance across all advertising systems.




- Lead the troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive toward root cause identification and resolution.
- Manage and aggressively optimize system resource utilization, including garbage collection tuning, advanced memory management, thread management, and network I/O optimization.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of skilled software development experience with a strong focus on Java C/C++.
- Deep understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and non-blocking network I/O (e.g., Netty, Thrift) is necessary for ultra-low latency environments.
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems and shell commands.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and experience with large-scale data processing.
- Expertise in distributed in-memory datastores (e.g., Redis, Aerospike) and high-throughput message brokers (e.g., Kafka).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with programmatic advertising, RTB, or DSPs is a strong plus.
- Hands-on with cloud platforms (GCP) is a differentiator.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and analytics tools like BigQuery.
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations in the context of digital advertising.
- Hands-on experience with the OpenRTB protocol.
