About the 1099 Physician Role

Were hiring for a 1099 Contracted Physician to join Curai Healths growing clinical care team. In this fully remote role, youll deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chats and secure messaging all supported by Curais advanced AI-powered clinical technology and proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system. What You'll Do

- Conducting comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for patients across various ages and backgrounds through text-based, and video visits
- Managing and coordinating care for chronic conditions
- Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Handling referrals and prior authorizations
- Accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Completing compliance tasks in a timely manner
- Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Producing clear and effective encounter visit notes that showcase strong medical decision-making, comprehensive differential diagnoses, and relevant, well-structured care plans

What You'll Bring





- A Board-certified physician (MD or DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
- At least 5 years of primary care experience, including adults and pediatrics
- Active, unrestricted physician licenses in a minimum of 15 states, including:
- At least 2 of the following: California, Texas, or Florida
- Preference given to candidates with active licenses in: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Current Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington

- At least 1 year of remote work experience preferred
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills
- A self-motivated and independent work style, with a strong capacity for teamwork and collaboration
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively in a remote work environment
- Adaptability to evolving technology, including AI-driven tools and digital platforms
