Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on AWS while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and deploy microservices-based applications following cloud-native architecture principles.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS Cloud.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and high availability.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience in Java (Java 8/11/17).




- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience in developing Microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud services.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Git and version control.

Preferred Skills

- AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Hibernate/JPA.
- Maven or Gradle.
- Unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Good to Have

- AWS Certification (AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
