Role Summary

Role involves generating field data for new, upgraded, and plant protectants to support R&D; and business teams, evaluating products for institutional and elite dealers, development of model farms, capturing market and farmer insights, identifying key challenges and new research areas, and supporting the Deep Green program through standardized farmer packages across priority crops.

Role and Responsibilities

1. New version trials: R&D; will provide multiple new versions all-round the year. Identify right location in the State and to evaluate for the efficacy

2. Recent Product Evaluation: Conducting field trials in farmers field on new products on growth, yield, quality with right economics.

3. Developing Centre of Excellence Model Farm for conducting agronomy trials, and for training the farmers, staff and clients.

4. Proof of concept trials: Proof of concept demonstrations improved crop solutions on multiple commercial and high value crops (Cardamom, coffee, pepper, grapes, water melon, etc.) as per the requirement of input and output business.

5. Deep green program: collection of Packages various sources, standardizing the package and to start work on deep green crops.

6. Field awareness/ training:



Traveling to farmer fields and other field sites to assess crop production and meet with farmers for POP data collection in different crops.

7. Training to local team on product, co-ordinating ICAR, University for new products, linking KvKs, etc.

Key Technical/ Functional Competencies

1. Capability to Design Trial Protocols, layouts and execute at Multi locations for Customised Fertilizers, Micronutrients and Crop Solutions
2. Execution scientific field trials as per the protocol, timelines with high standards and knowledge on the statistical tool analysis.
3. Co ordination/ Liaison with State Agri universities, Research institutions/
4. Support new product commercialisations, by supporting launch programmes, educate on right dose, right time and correct way of using the product and help user to realize promised product benefits.
5. Collect the Farmer feedback on crop solutions, new products, water soluble fertilizers and biologicals.
6. Knowledge of market new products, how it works in Plant Eco system.

7. Ability to document results, interpret and presentation skills.
