About the Role

We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Video Editor who specializes in editing short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, and current social media trends to create engaging, high-performing videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Add captions, transitions, motion graphics, animations, sound effects, and background music.
- Create fast-paced, attention-grabbing edits that improve audience retention.
- Collaborate with content creators, videographers, and the marketing team to bring creative ideas to life.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and client objectives.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos.
- Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest editing styles, viral trends, and platform algorithms.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain project files efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 13 years of experience in video editing, preferably for social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations is preferred.




- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
- Experience creating subtitles, kinetic typography, and animated text.
- Knowledge of social media formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience editing content for personal brands, influencers, coaches, or businesses.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design using Photoshop or Canva.
- Understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn content trends.
- Portfolio showcasing edited Reels or short-form videos.

Software Skills

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects (Preferred)
- DaVinci Resolve
- Photoshop (Basic)
- Canva (Basic)
- CapCut (Added Advantage)

Experience

- 1–3 Years (Freshers with an exceptional editing portfolio may also apply.)

Salary

- 15,000 – 20,000 per month (Based on experience and portfolio)
