Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Consultant to provide strategic technology leadership and advisory services. The consultant will evaluate, optimize, and enhance the organization's technology ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration, efficiency, scalability, and security across all business applications and processes.

The consultant will work closely with Management, Finance, HR, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT vendors to identify opportunities for digital transformation and operational excellence.

Current Technology Ecosystem

The consultant will oversee and optimize the effective utilization of:

- EmmEss ERP
- Tally ERP
- Salesforce CRM
- Ambuja Software
- Gati Software
- WalletHR
- Other business applications and third-party integrations as required

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Advisory

- Develop and recommend a technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Advise management on technology investments, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

Software & System Optimization

- Evaluate existing software applications and business workflows.
- Ensure effective utilization of EmmEss, Tally, Salesforce, Ambuja, Gati, and WalletHR platforms.
- Recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
- Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies caused by technology gaps.

Systems Integration

- Assess integration opportunities between ERP, CRM, HRMS, Finance, Inventory, and Sales systems.
- Work with software vendors to streamline data flow and reporting.
- Improve system interoperability and data accuracy.





Business Process Automation

- Design and implement automation solutions for repetitive business processes.
- Reduce manual intervention through technology-driven solutions.
- Recommend AI-powered tools and productivity platforms where applicable.

Data Management & Reporting

- Improve business intelligence, dashboards, and management reporting capabilities.
- Ensure data consistency and reliability across systems.
- Support decision-making through meaningful analytics and reporting structures.

Information Security & Compliance

- Review technology risks and recommend security best practices.
- Ensure data protection and access controls are properly maintained.
- Advise on backup, recovery, and business continuity measures.

Vendor Management

- Coordinate with software providers and implementation partners.
- Review vendor performance and recommend improvements.
- Support software implementation, upgrades, and migration projects.

Training & Change Management

- Guide teams in adopting recent technologies and processes.
- Conduct awareness sessions for management and employees when required.
- Promote a culture of technology-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,



Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

- 10+ years of experience in Technology Consulting, IT Leadership, Digital Transformation, ERP Consulting, or CIO/CTO-level roles.
- Experience working with Retail, Jewellery, Manufacturing, or Multi-Location Business Operations preferred.
- Proven experience in ERP, CRM, HRMS, and Business Application Management.
