Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks supporting multiple test types (UI, API, integration).
- Define automation strategies and identify opportunities to increase test automation coverage and efficiency.
- Optimize automation scripts for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Conduct code reviews of automation scripts ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
- Mentor team members in automation tools, frameworks, and coding practices.
- Create and maintain robust test data setup/teardown routines and reusable step definitions/utilities.
- Own automation solutions end-to-end, including framework design, execution stability, CI/CD integration, and results analysis.
- Produce, review and maintain test documentation and runbooks (execution steps, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding notes).
- Support defect triage and RCA for automation failures in collaboration with client teams and drive improvements to reduce flaky tests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation efforts with business requirements and release timelines.
- Drive improvements in CI/CD integration, reporting, and test execution processes.
