Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad

Experience: 1 - 4 Years

KPO Industry preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Accounts Payable: Recording and processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier balances with supplier statements, processing periodic Accounts Payable (AP) payment runs, sending remittance advices, setting up recent suppliers, and communicating with suppliers.
- Accounts Receivable: Creating and issuing customer invoices, setting up new customer accounts, recording customer receipts, sending periodic customer statements, performing credit control, following up on outstanding debts via email and phone calls, and reporting to management.
- Banking: Coding bank feeds or recording transactions for bank accounts, credit cards (CCs), and loan accounts; setting up payments through online banking portals for client authorization; managing cash flow; and performing periodic reconciliations.
- Payroll & Related Compliance: Processing timesheets, managing employee leave, setting up new employees and completing onboarding tasks, processing periodic payroll runs, issuing payslips, processing termination payments, managing Superannuation payments and reconciliations, payroll tax lodgements and payments, WorkCover, parental leave, child support, novated leases, STP lodgements and finalisation, and other payroll-related compliance activities.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Undertaking administrative and ad hoc projects or tasks, as requested by clients,



that are not covered under the above responsibilities.
- Client Reporting: Reviewing Profit & Loss (P&L;) and Balance Sheet (BS) items, preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries and adjustments, and preparing periodic management reporting packs as requested.
- Client Communication: Communicating with clients on a day-to-day basis regarding accounting, payroll, and other related matters.
- Review & Quality Control (QC): Reviewing work performed by junior team members from time to time to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Training: Providing training to new team members and conducting refresher training sessions for existing team members.

Required Skills

- Degree in CA, CA Inter, M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
- 1 - 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Prior experience in Australian Accounting is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Australian Accounting principles.
- Sound knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
- Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
