Job Description:

ABOUT JOB ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of experience as a developer and 1–2 years of experience leading a team. This role involves managing a team of developers, ensuring project deadlines are met, and delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. The candidate should be proficient in development and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS: • 3–4 years of hands-on development experience (preferably in PHP and Laravel framework).

• 1–2 years of proven experience as a team leader or similar leadership role.

• Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.

• Proficiency in managing tasks, allocating resources, and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and tools like MySQL/PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and third-party integrations.

• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (Vue.js/React is a plus).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Management:

 Lead and mentor a team of developers,



ensuring they deliver high-quality code and meet project deadlines.

 Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage team performance.

 Foster a collaborative and positive team environment

Development:  Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework and other relevant technologies.

 Build APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) for seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.

 Write clean, efficient, and scalable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Project Delivery:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.

 Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Optimization:

 Monitor application performance and implement caching and other optimization strategies.

 Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Documentation:

 Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and team workflows

OUTSTANDING TO HAVES (requirements):

 Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

 Experience with containerization tools like Docker.

 Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

 Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

 Exposure to front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (Vue.js/React is a plus)
