Role and Responsibilities
• Review of Federal tax returns, state tax returns, and other foreign informational forms as prescribed by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) for US-based clients
• Require identifying the books to tax adjustment based on the working papers and guide the team for the same
• Manage client’s engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects)
• Responsible for researching any new topics and advising the team to provide appropriate tax treatment
• Responsible for managing 10-15 team members in the team along with needs to make sure the team will develop andperform as per their KRA
• Responsibilities of providing training on business tax and individual tax returns to new hires and existing staff members
• Managing engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billings
• Responsible for monitoring engagement budget hours vs. actual hours.
• Identify the new marketplace service opportunities and grow the tax practice.
• Strong People leadership skills and leading by example
• Develop and enhance personal technical knowledge and understanding of US tax laws
• Proficient in Various US tax software and other Tax compliance tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team Player, self-driven, and ability to work independently and motivate team members
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- CA, CS, ICWA, or Minimum master’s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic results, majoring in Accounting or Finance Experience.
- EA and/or CPA will have additional advantages and preferred credentials.
- The candidate must have 8-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
- Broad exposure to federal income taxation and knowledge of tax regulations.
