Key Responsibilities

- User workspace design for Defence systems/equipment & Industrial System.
- Design for human factors (ergonomics)
- User experience design (user interface design)
- Packaging and layout of complex engineering systems
- Design for assembly, manufacturing and maintenance
- Development of soft model and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement
- Coordination with Analysis and Engineering teams for optimization and detailing
- Collaborate with software teams for implementation of the User Interface
- Technical support to execution teams for manufacturing, integration and testing
- Technical support for field trials
- Recording of feedback from manufacturing, integration and testing phases for design improvement

Prior Experience required

- Design and development experience of a technology focused product

Key Skills:

- Problem solving and conceptualization
- Valuable sketching and product visualization skills
- Proficient in 3D modelling and realistic rendering software tools
- Proficiency in image editing and graphic design software
- Sound knowledge of engineering basics such strength of materials, fluid dynamics etc is a plus
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
