General Manager/ Senior Manager/Assistant Vice President - Corporate Sales

Business Development & Client Acquisition

- Identify, target and acquire new corporate clients across sectors.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Prepare and deliver customized insurance solutions to corporate clients.

2. Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate accounts.
- Coordinate with placement, operations and claims teams to ensure seamless client experience.

3. Market & Product Knowledge

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance products, market trend and underwriting practices.
- Stay updated with IRDAI

Sales Planning & Reporting

- Prepare annual and quarterly sales plans and forecasts.
- Track performance metrics and provide regular sales reports to Reporting Head.
- Participate in business review meetings and contribute to strategic initiatives.

5. Team Collaboration

- Work closely with placement,



claims and support teams for client deliverables.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of insurance products (Group Health, Property, Liability, Marine, etc.)
- Proven track record in B2B or corporate sales within insurance broking or insurance industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7–9 years of experience in corporate insurance sales, preferably in an insurance broking environment.
- IRDAI Broker License or eligibility to obtain one.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Client retention and satisfaction rates.
- Growth in recent client acquisition.
- Cross-selling and upselling of insurance products.
