- Machine Setup & Operation: Interpret engineering drawings to set up fixtures, load raw materials, and execute machining programs (such as Fanuc).
- Quality Control: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, Vernier calipers, and bore gauges) to inspect finished parts and maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Tooling Adjustments: Modify feed rates, spindle speeds, and tool offsets to optimize cutting performance and prevent tool breakage.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform daily preventative maintenance (fluid top-offs, cleaning, lubrication) and diagnose minor mechanical or programming errors.
- Safety & Workplace Organization: Maintain a protected work zone adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines and 5S workplace standards.
